About Clay Collage: After working with paper collage for a few months, I joined a clay studio near my house in San Francisco. I took a few classes—including handbuilding and wheel— and fell in love with clay. After making many bowls and mugs, I decided to get weird. I wanted to translate what I’d been doing on paper into dimensional forms. Clay collage was born.
